How to book
You can check locations and book here. When you book to play with us, you will book one or more lanes, depending on how many people are part of your team. We can accommodate up to 6 players per standard lane, or 5 for our new interactive ChampThrow lanes which are available at some venues, so if you’re bringing a larger team you’ll have to book two or more lanes to start at the same time.
What to expect on arrival
Each lane is fully enclosed in fencing and axes are only thrown in these safe zones. In every lane you will find a target, a set of axes and an instructor who will guide you through your axe throwing experience.
When you arrive, we give you a full demonstration and safety brief, teaching you how to throw an axe and how to manage the scoring system. A qualified instructor will be on hand throughout your time at our venue to ensure you’re having a blast. They’ll offer encouragement and advice, helping you tweak your stance and your throw to encourage you to develop your axe-throwing skills, so by the time you leave you’ll be hooked and want to come back for more!
What is ChampThrow?
Lucky enough to be visiting one of our sites with full ChampThrow system installed? You get to choose between a series of live, interactive axe throwing games. The system projects a game onto your target, allowing you to perfect your aim as you throw your axes at virtual moving figures, objects and bullseyes. If your team is feeling competitive, it automatically keeps individual scores. New games are introduced all the time - check with your local venue to find out more about the fun ChampThrow can bring to any group, large or small.
What else can I do?
Well, if you love it so much and want to come back, some venues host special competitions throughout the month when you can practice your trick shots. Once you’ve been a number of times and have mastered the basic throw, ask any instructor to help you master more fancy throws and tricks.
